The Slow Food Coffee Coalition (SFCC): is ‘good,’ ‘clean,’ and ‘fair’ the only way we have to save the future of coffee? Meeting with Cesar Marin from La Chacra D’Dago, a biodynamic coffee farm in Peru
Nordic Roasting Co., roastery of the SFCC, together with Slow Food Denmark are organizing an event about SFCC in Copenhagen on the 27th of Feb. Special Guest: Cesar Marin, the producer from la Chacra D’dago, part of the Slow Food Community Villa Rica Sustainable Coffee in Perù.

- 18:55-19:10Why the coffee supply chain is broken (Francesco and Kim)
- 19:10-20:00 What are the challenges the SFCC is trying to address and how Good Clean and Fair coffee can be a solution to fix these challenges. The experience from the field: Cesar Marin coffee producer from the Biodynamic farm Chacra D’Dago in Peru will share with us what are the challenges and the benefits of running regenerative agriculture in a tropical country.

- 20:15-20:45 The tools of the SFCC : the Manifesto, the Partipatory Guarantee System, training and promotion (the SF Snail as a trademark to be used on product, a revolution for the SF movement)
- 20:45-21:05 Coffee cupping of the coffees from the SF coffee coalition (besides the lots from la Chacra D’Dago/Peru roasted by Nordic Roasting we will introduce 2/3 coffees from the coalition (Mexico and perhaps Honduras)

Danskerne drikker rigtig meget kaffe! Men hvad er god, ren og retfærdig kaffe? Mød kaffeavleren Cesar Marin fra Peru og hans danske importør, Francesco Impallomeni fra Nordic Roasters – begge en del af Slow Food Coffee Coalition. De fortæller og besvarer spørgsmål om det, de selv kalder en kaffe-revolution – en måde at handle og producere kaffe på, der tager hånd om både de sociale og miljømæssige dilemmaer.
Francesco har livslang erfring med Slow Foods kaffeprojekter og er med i Slow Food Coffee Coalition. Og Cesar Marin fra La Chacra D’Dago fortæller historien fra kaffeavlerens perspektiv.
Vi kommer selvfølgelig også til at smage kaffe fra Coffee Coalition – fra Peru, Mexico og (måske) Honduras.
